Yes, God. I want you.

Kandace went on our Campus Life Texas trip last spring and shared all the mess of her life, but she wasn’t ready to accept God in her heart. She felt like God couldn’t forgive all of the wrong she had done. Kandace has a pretty rough home life and decided to fill the void in her life with alcohol, drugs, and boys. I invited her to YFCamp, knowing from past experiences, that this week would rock her world! That is exactly what happened this summer. Kandace came to camp and was really affected by the stories of staff members who shared. She could relate to their stories; and she noticed she wasn’t alone. Kandace talked again about her messes and, for the first time, said she wanted to stop it all. One evening, the camp speaker shared the Good News of Jesus, and then the students went outside alone for 30 minutes to talk with God. When Kandace got back to the cabin, she told Amber she was ready to be forgiven by God and wanted to become a part of His family. Kandace said “yes” to God for the first time!!
