Lincoln, NE, 10-5-11 — The family of Dwayne Greer, a Lincoln boy who was shot and killed on July 30th,2011, was presented with food and gas gift cards in honor of the late Dwayne Greer. As a student Dwayne had participated in Campus Life clubs at Park Middle School and Lincoln High. He also traveled to camp with the Campus Life during the previous two summers. When his life was cut short at the end of July his family requested that a memorial fund be started at Youth for Christ / Campus Life. Financial gifts that were received have been matched by gift cards from U-Stop, Russ’s Market and Hy-Vee

Gift cards were presented to Delores Campbell, Greer’s grandmother, by Jason Hawkins, Campus Life’s Lincoln High Director, in September. All future gifts to the Dwayne Greer Memorial fund (http://www.lincolnyfc.org/about/blog/dwayne_greer/) will be utilized to send under-privileged youth to YFCamp.
